How to add a COM port my T-Mobile MDA?
Trying to connect a Bluetooth GPS to my T-Mobile MDA Compact with Tom Tom 5. MDA has only com ports 2,4 and 5 of communication available. com is looking for Tom Tom 6, any suggestions. I have the latest ROM update installed on the MDA. Any suggestions helpful? Hello. I tried to select another COM port only to find the MDA has only 4 and 5 to select another option available to change this setting. I couple of them in bluetooth without any problem
It is necessary to link the GPS device with the PDA and then create an output port GPS com .. You can then set this COM6 value or 7 if its the same version of Tom Tom 5 used to have, you need to connect is an "other NMEA GPS device" rather than Bluetooth GPS .. It should be used be a good site that explained everything, but can not find, watch this space.
